Rocky Gordon hails originally from Philadelphia. He is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV)
with a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Performance, Magna Cum Laude. Rocky is currently pursuing his master’s degree in jazz composition.
He spent the first part of his career as a working drummer in Las Vegas, picking up saxophone as an added voice later on.
Rocky is also a highly respected composer and arranger, having written and recorded in every musical style, from rock to jazz.
His experience is extensive, and his journey continues today in pursuit of establishing his voice as a jazz alto saxophonist /composer.
